"Puro Lopez" Part 1

This blog series will be more for my family from the Lopez side. It is more of a personal blog. I plan on putting updates and just fun and interesting things for those who may be out of town.

I love this ranch. My family is the one who lives geologically closest to what is lovingly called "The Ranch." It was owned by my grandfather but now it has been passed down to his amazing and beautiful children my tios and tias.

"Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?" Matthew 6:26

There is still life here on this ranch. Here is what it looks like. I took these photos of the birds that show up here on the ranch. I taught my nephew that stillness and patience is rewarded. We sat quietly until a green jay showed up. It was truly exciting. It was a gift to be a part of that experience with him. With a little patience, you can hear and see the beauty that surrounds us. I will try to identify the birds as best as I am able. Thanks for bird watching with me!
