INTEGRITY IN WORSHIP

God wants integrity in our worship. See, God does not forget. He will remember all of your sacrifices and all of your offerings. He isn’t complaining about our offerings. But what He does ask us for is something more. He wants us to turn our sacrifices and our offerings into prayers.
Psalms 50: 8-10
“I bring no charges against you concerning your sacrifices
or concerning your burnt offerings, which are ever before me.
I have no need of a bull from your stall
or of goats from your pens,
for every animal of the forest is mine,
and the cattle on a thousand hills.”
V. 14-15
“Sacrifice thank offerings to God,
fulfill your vows to the Most High,
and call on me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”
See, the gifts are important yes. But the sincerity of the gift is what God wants. He wants the motive to be pure. He wants the emotion behind the gift. God wants integrity in our worship. He wants us to keep the act of worship holy because He is holy. That is what is important to Him. I pray God reminds all of us of all the promises we ever made to Him. May he grant us the strength to fulfill them all.
