“God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken” Romans 4:17-18
When we make a declaration, it is an expression of faith. God loves faith and is attracted to it. He loves seeing it in His children. He exercises faith all the time.
He said, “Let there be light.” And it was. This was His declaration then it happened.

I remember seeing a quote by a young teenage girl who died in the Columbine High School tragedy. Rachel Joy Scott was part of a youth group at her church. She was 13 years old when she created her personal mission statement. “These hands belong to Rachel Joy Scott and will someday touch millions of people’s hearts.” She declared it and then she did it.
I remember reading that and being so challenged in my faith. I wanted a personal mission statement. I believe when we have a vision for our personal lives and families it gives us a purposeful direction. We can press towards that goal.
Check out our personal mission statements. We hope they inspire you to write one for yourself. Go for it and share it with us!
My name is Fabian Lopez and one day the whole world will hear the message I preach and read the words of my mind and know the song of my heart. I will live my life for Jesus Christ. I will not recant for I cannot. He is my Hope, my All, and my Beloved.
My name is Janette Abbygail Lopez and I will lead the cities of the world to their knees before God in prayer. I will be the voice for the voiceless. I will declare healing to the hurting and I will lift-up the brokenhearted. My name will be spoken of by generations to come as a woman who was not ashamed of her God, Jesus Christ, the Hope of Glory.
