Peace Answers "No."

There is a power that is one of the greatest forces in our universe.

It is not gravity that forms and shapes the galaxies.

It is not the fire in the sun that erupts or the stars that explode with the power of a thousand nuclear weapons.

It is not the evil in our world or the violence of war. It is not even Death itself.

I am convinced that one of the greatest forces in all of creation is the peace of God.

The enemy will shake you. He will try to break you. He will inject doubt into your faith. He will cause pain and trauma. He fans the flame of anger and bitterness into your situation. He wants you to give up. He wants you to lose your faith. He wants you to be broken.

The enemy asks “Where is your miracle?” “Why has your promise been broken?” He tells you…“Your faith is meaningless.”

But the Peace of God answers “NO!” God’s Peace says “I will not let your joy be stolen. Your heart is resilient. I am with you. I will strengthen you. I will carry you.”

I have seen God’s gift at work. We have seen the strength and the magnitude of His peace. We have seen the power of its unyielding presence.

God’s peace is greater. His peace is mighty. It cannot be diminished and it cannot be reduced. You cannot dilute it. And you cannot break it. His peace encourages us. It can withstand the stress and pressure that catastrophes bring.

With God’s peace, the fire cannot touch you. The lion cannot devour you. The storm cannot sink you. Because His peace is by our side. His peace carries us.

When we fall to our knees in despair His peace says “Get up. Do not let your heart be troubled. Do not be afraid. You are mine,”

The name of God’s peace is Jesus.
